Fatherhood wasn’t designed to be done alone. We’ve been sitting on this idea for a while, and while there’s no official launch date yet because we want to get it right, we’re excited to introduce The No Bad Dads Club, a new community for dads of every age and every stage of fatherhood.
New dads. Single dads. Divorced dads. Expecting dads. Stepdads. Grandads. Dads who feel like they’ve got it all under control, and dads who absolutely don’t. Everyone is welcome.
You don’t have to be struggling
You don’t need to be a No Bad Days customer. You don’t need to know anyone who already comes along. And you definitely don’t need to be struggling with your mental health.
Maybe you’re lonely and fancy getting out of the house. Maybe you need somewhere to vent after a hard week. Maybe there’s something about being a dad you could use some advice on. Or maybe you just want to meet some like-minded dads. Whatever brings you through the door, you’re welcome.
Dads helping dads
There are so many parts of being a dad you’re somehow just expected to know. Changing nappies. Bedtime routines. Relationships. Co-parenting. Dad guilt. Looking after your own mental health while trying to look after everybody else’s.
Then there are the everyday things nobody teaches you, like how to style your daughter’s hair or what to do with your son’s hair once it’s no longer a toddler cut.
The idea is simple: dad-to-dad learning, advice and friendship. No stupid questions. No judgement. No pressure.
More than just a meet-up
The first No Bad Dads Club will take place at No Bad Days in Upnor. Music on, snacks and drinks, good people, a space to just be yourself. As the club grows, we want to take it further, into coffee shops, pubs, countryside walks and coastal spots across Kent, and bring in guest speakers and professionals with real knowledge to share.
But we don’t want to decide what dads need to talk about. We want to hear it from you. What would you like to learn? What do you wish someone had told you when you became a dad? Mental health, relationships, parenting, co-parenting, practical skills, or something else entirely, we want to know.
Good dads. Good conversations. Good people.
No judgement. No pressure. No bad dads. Just dads figuring it out together.
The No Bad Dads Club is coming
It’s not therapy. It’s not a support group you need a reason to attend. It’s simply a place for dads to meet other dads, learn from each other, and build some genuine friendships along the way.
